CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education)  has released the date for Correction of uploaded Images- JEE Mains 2014 for those candidates who have not uploaded image(s) of their photograph/signature/thumb impression properly. The SMS and e-mail to such candidates in this regard are being sent on their registered mobile phones and mail-id. Only these candidates have to log-in the JEE Main website and upload the concerned  image  properly.

Correction of uploaded Images- JEE Mains 2014 will be available till January 25.

Details regarding the Correction of uploaded Images- JEE Mains 2014 are:

 

Thumb impression: For male applicants the left hand thumb impression should be taken and for female applicants the right hand thumb impression should be used. The scanned image should be in the JPEG format with file size 1KB to 30KB and image size 3.5cm x 1.5cm.

Photograph size: The photograph should be scanned and clear. Color photographs and black and white photographs are both acceptable but Polaroid photos are not accepted. Candidate may wear spectacles but no caps or goggles.The photograph of the candidate should be in the JPEG format with file size 4KB to 100KB and image size 3.5 cm x 4.5  cm.

 Signature: The signature of the candidate should be scanned and be in the JPEG format with file size 1KB to 30KB and image size 3.5cm x 1.5cm. The signature should be clearly visible in the center of the scanned image.

Note: The facility for correction of other particulars by the candidates will be available on JEE Main official website from January 1 to February 15.

Further, this office has also received some requests from the candidates regarding clash of dates of Board’s examination with the dates of Computer Based Examination of JEE Main – 2014. Such candidates may send the copy of their admit card of class 12th by e-mail on www.jeemain@nic.in  latest by 15.03.2014. The candidates should also mention their application number of JEE Mains– 2014.

The copy of admit card of class 12th sent by post or sent on any other mail-id will not be entertained. These candidates will be allotted other available date of Computer Based Examination of JEE Main – 2014.
