[su_heading]NATA 2014 Entrance Exam [/su_heading]

 

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability, that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture.

The purpose of conducting NATA is to provide a single scheme of examination for holding aptitude test and to facilitate prospective students all over the country to apply for admissions in architecture seats in institutions spread across the country while the actual admissions shall be carried out only by the concerned designated authorities of the respective states/ institutions based on NATA.

The NATA also ensures that the eligibility criteria for admission to five-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree course, as prescribed by CoA and duly approved by the Central Government, are strictly adhered to and followed all over the country in Architectural Institutions.

NATA 2014 Paper Pattern

 

The question paper consists of a total 170 objective type questions. The question paper is divided into five sections:

  1. English Comprehension and Language (30 Question), 
  2. Numerical Ability (30), 
  3. Non Verbal & Verbal reasoning (30), 
  4. General Knowledge (30), 
  5. Social Economic Environment (40).

 

NATA 2014 REGISTRATION PROCESS

 

Approach the Test centre located at centres / schools and college / school of Architecture at a location convenient to the candidate with the filled up form and the documents listed below.

 

Documents required for Registration

 

  • Std. X or equivalent exam mark list – attested copy
  • One recent passport size colour photograph, to be pasted on the registration form.
  • Any  valid  document  of  identification  bearing  photograph  and  signature  of  the candidate – attested copy
  • Valid email address.
